The ESR and the European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical and Healthcare IT Industry (COCIR) are pleased to announce that we have formalised our cooperation for the next two years by renewing a Letter of Intent (LoI). The LoI was first signed on 25 June, 2013 and renewed on the 10 February, 2023 and promotes constant collaboration and exchange between the ESR and COCIR.
The areas of collaboration will include but are not limited to; code of conduct with the industry, value-based radiology, regulatory issues, quality and safety in medical imaging, medical device data and equipment age profile.
With recent developments in a number of key EU policy areas, it is an ideal time to solidify the collaboration between our organisations.
